CYCLES

PAINTINGS

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.

Pablo Picasso

EXPECTATIONS

Exploring the intersection of psychology and art, this cycle investigates how beliefs and expectations influence the human experience. These pieces are meticulously crafted using acrylics, handcrafted charcoal, and glass elements to reflect the complexity of our emotional landscape.

THE FORM OF CHAOS

Pierre Soulages said “Painting is not the equivalent of a sensation, an emotion, or a feeling; it is the organization of colored forms, on which we impose and reshape meaning.”
The unleashed chaos, with its dirts, broken parts and formless shades of black, create new quality.

FLOW

The brush in the Flow cycle moves steadily and continuously into biomorphic, minimalistic shapes. The are accompanied with a beam of a golden light. You will find in this cycle striking, contrasting colors and a play with a flat end textured shapes as well as gloss and matt.

SPANISH INSPIRATIONS

The Spanish Inspiration cycle has been created during one of my visits to Spain. I was impressed by beautiful play of the sun, intense colors, strong flower’s scents, full of passion Spanish art scene. The origin of this cycle brush strokes and movements comes from the previous – Cycle of emotion. You will find similar shapes and movement of the brush.

I

In my art I aim for minimalism. I usually use up to three colors in one painting. In this cycle I use only two, staying within two rectangular shapes. I play with gloss and matt.

[in art] less is more.

Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe

LE GRIS

I was inspired by one of the graffiti artists – Blek Le Rat.  The silvery-grey and black tones stayed in my mind for longer. I was impressed by his background painting I started to experiment with those colours, different paints, brushes and texture.

STUDY OF EMOTION

Artworks in this series are minimalistic. They are painted with only two contrasting and luxurious colors, gold and black…They play together in different ways: fighting for domination, changing places, finding themselves in various situations including achieving balance. The cycle’s inspiration lies in psychology.

It would be very dangerous if we didn’t have emotions

Paul Ekman

NOIR

In my art I aim for minimalism. In the cycle Noir the leading color is black. The first painting ‘Noir •1’ you can find four shades of blacks. In some parts it is matt, very opaque black, in others is glossy. I also play here with texture.

THE EYE

Curiosity, empathy and imagination started the cycle The Eye. But it would not exist without acceptance and endorsement of art lowers – thank you! So this cycle started with the design of my own eye, but the rest are yours…and more wild versions of what used to be an inspiration of the eye but came into a slightly different direction.

JAPANESE BRUSH

This minimalistic cycle is Japanese’s art inspired. I met one guy once at „Cafe Tarrace At Night” and it appears we had common interest, inspiration and passion…

THE MOVEMENT

Brush strokes with the underlying Jazz Drum Brushes touch. Vibrant black holes and relaxing aerial waves. Peculiar melodies with different energy levels.

I paint not the things I see but the feelings they arouse in me

Franz Kline

An artist is an explorer – said Henri Matisse.

Painting experience appeared to be an exciting journey for me.
